Welcome To Blackwater Valley Opera Festival
The Blackwater Valley Opera Festival, Ireland’s only summer opera festival, from 29th May to 3rd June 2019, presents its centrepiece, the annual opera at Lismore Castle, with an exciting schedule of additional musical events throughout the week.
Playing host to many of these one-off events are the Great Houses, Churches and unique locations of the glorious Blackwater Valley, offering a chance to explore this hidden gem of the Munster Region, an historic part of Ireland’s Ancient East. Patrons can also enjoy an outstanding array of dining and hospitality choices, provided by local businesses and prepared by local chefs, making the Blackwater Valley Opera Festival an experience like no other.
